Well at least this one worked as expected. After the long, long wait for Dr Oetker vouchers to be approved I'd have been well peeved if it hadn't.
Wish I'd put the Ice cream on this one as I'd actually checked in Morrisons on their ice cream prices. Guess the heat got to me!

Good afternoon everyone, back from my festival hol, had a fantastic time.

Unfortunately got turfed out of the Comedy Club last night due to electrical storm so Rich Hall had to cut his set short , think we were probably watching him during the worst of the storm. :eek: But made for a few good jokes.

Favourite bit for me was last night standing 3 rows back watching KT Tunstall. :j

Dexys were disappointing, big egos, no crowd pleasers except for playing Geno, focused on their new album which I don't think was really festival material. And they didn't even do an encore, miserable lot. :mad:

Some pretty good lesser known peeps made up for Dexys shortfall though. :T

Hope all is well with the Elite and I have not missed anything too big.

Paid £5 after the vouchers for 2 packs of J2O. £7 for 2 compared to £4.28 at Sainsburys so diff is £2.72 + 42P = £3.14.
£1.86 for 2 packs ie. 93p a pack

I SHOULD have had an APG of £7 back but on 4 but only got £4.79 back because of my balls up with the ice cream.

I'm sure I've seen Sainsburys own brand ice cream for £1 but just checked on msm & somehow Asda's own brand compares at £2.99 in Sainsburys - CRAZY!

Anon - Douwe is normally £6.49 or thereabouts so £4 is reasonable especially if you buy in Asda - so getting it for £3.60. We ONLY buy it on offer normally once or twice a year. Checked in Morrisons and it's on offer until Sunday.
HATE Nescafe/Maxwell - tastes like anything but coffee!
Already stocked up on beans/ground but often have instant too - we do drink far too much coffee.

A year ago you could get for £3/190gm but haven't seen at that price for a long while.
