Yes. Some people use their own abbreviations.
:rotfl::rotfl:I was going to put "O/S" when referring to "old style" MSM lately - meaning the website rather than the new app MSM details.
And I've been known to use "OOS" (out of stock) before. I then added it cheekily into the first page post when it came to my turn.
Perhaps we need MSM and mys (although it depends on the context of people's original posts;)) putting into the abbrevs. on the first page - whoever starts the next thread (or QoC to edit now?). It can be difficult for newcomers to get used to our abbreviations.0 -
Are they greenhouse ones and which variety? My most advanced are Tasty King.
Passanda or passandra or something very similar. They're dwarf- ish ones and grow to about 6-7 inches. I've got them in the greenhouse but they are fine to grow outsideI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Shame as I could do with some new tyres.
I've found the free Bridgestones
It's asked me for my car details, and it's allowing me to make a booking. Tyres free, front wheel balance £29.
Only thing is these tyres are R16 91W, and I put a tyre on my 307 last week so I know mine are R15 91H
I know naff all about these things, I'm assuming they won't fit...?
Irrelevant I guess as no way will they honour it
Edit: Change of plan, I've cancelled the wheel balance, I'm going to turn up and say no no don't fit the tyres, just bung 'em in the back please :rotfl:0 -
Fred_Bloggs wrote: »What are your thoughts on buying an item in T's for an higher price than it is in A so you receive a pp. But the next time you shop in T's you take the item back for a refund.
Is this just exploiting a loophole because you have 28 days to take an item back if you change your mind, or would this be classed as fraud to gain a pp?
How is this 'fraud'? You bought a shop (with at the minimum number of items in it) - it turned out to be cheaper elsewhere so they gave you a coupon for the difference. Fine. That's what they promise to do.
Then.. you changed your mind, which the back of the receipt allows you to do. So you can go to CS under that policy. Whether or not CS notices the very high price that T charged you in the first place (and then tries to offset that against the PP you got back) is up to them. If they take the item back and refund what's on the receipt, that was the price you originally paid. As long as you don't mislead them or claim there was no PP if they ask you if there had been one, I'd have thought you were okay. You are under no obligation to tell them you had got a PP. For all you know, indeed, the PP might have related to other items on the receipt and the item you want to return might have been non-comparable. That you know different seems irrelevant. If they accept your item that you return and choose to give you the full amount you originally paid (rather than looking into whether it gave a PP), that's a matter for them and deal done I say if they do that. That was their choice and you didn't (I assume) try to deceive them when deciding to change your mind, e.g. by lying to them or telling them falsehoods if they asked you something specifically.0 -

Why the £1.14?? Gosh - just looked at old style MSM and seen price incr. there! Are you sure your post is right though? New Pots showing at £1.14, but Baby New Pots showing as £1.10 on msm.co.uk - are you looking at the same one on the website and on the app.?
I thought T came back as 36p on the APG but app now suggests 40p. Has that A price incr. 'forced' the T price up I wonder? (Little bit of an  as it's a price incr - now 36p rather than about 33p, but nonetheless not a very very large one.)
Where do you get 33p from? If anything its gone from 35.1p to 36pApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Good morning everyone, another quick visit before my daughter gets up and the laptop is taken once again. This is a copy of my receipt from Tesco yesterday at 17.37pm. The bill came to £11.63 and accepted a £2 off pies coupon, but would not scan the £2 off finest nor the £2 chefs pledge. I took these to customer services and was reimbursed the £4 though, making the meal deal £4. Plus has £2.14 pp back. Hope this helps some one.
Can anyone please tell me how to copy from the pp onto here properly as I'm no techie, tried the screen print, pressed the button but it didn't work ? I can't insert any faces either?
Thanks to the op for the heads up on this and Logie your cakes look amazing.
Hugs to everyone who needs them xx
You're brave going to CS with the meal deal! I only managed the Finest moc - the Italian and Chef's Pledge didn't work. Didn't dare go to CS! Not too worried as used CP with a womble and am going to write to CS about the Italian. SA was a bit of a trout so maybe she didn't scan it properly.0
