Again I'm not a fan of 'pies' as unknown meat lumps, gristle

You'd be surprised at how many people would pay £3.99 for it.
It's a posh, branded deo, health and beauty type product, people will pay opwards of £5 for some of the H&B things - suncreams at £6 each anyone? (Lots of people must be buying them!)
Remember the guy I noticed in Morries a few weeks back - picking up one of the Jaffa Cake packs at £2.18??!!
£3.99 - that's how much our 18p deos are worth!!:j:j:j0 -

Do you reckon when it says 'hot pies' it would work on shepherds pies?0

I'm pretty sure the chef's pledge mocs stack against anything, including themselvesBit confused tbh because so many are going through on a big shop and I can't quite work out which are accepted against what
For meal dealers who don't like pies, Italian one was accepted against the steak in Chianti with pasta yesterday.
Yes, happy to
Exactly. Think you may be missing out Savvy. Maybe don't think of it as a £40 shop which is , instead think of it as a £10-£15 shop, ie what you actually shell out. As long as that "£40" spend includes £10-£15 of needed items at your "core" price, the rest is bunce. Any additional overage can then used up on milk, fruit, veg etc. Of course it includes items you wouldn't ordinarily buy, but they are free, often treats for the family, sometimes things you try out and like (or not). I would never normally buy T's finest meal deals, but if they are free then it would be daft not to - today's Sunday meal will be a rather surprising and eclectic mix of T's finest dishes
Problem would be getting my Ts to accept all those MOCs. There's a right trouty woman in my store that always gets called and just doesn't like me. Sorry - I've had enough of T!!
Nonetheless, one good story to tell (but, again, as it's T, must wait a little more to see if it actually comes to fruition, I never believe it till I see it in my pocket) - so expect another 6 month wait then!!:(:D
If you're using a PP from a previous shop as well, don't forget you overpaid by the £10 last time (or at some point before then) so that has to be worked into the mix. Probably has been knowing you lot though:D:D:rotfl::rotfl:. Right - I'm closing this topic now!:D:)0 -
Oh I am having an awful time with DS2 today
He's supposed to go to his leavers party at school tomorrow evening. It's at 6.30pm and that's where we've got a problemThings are really clear cut for him. He hates to mix school and real life. School finishes at 3.30pm and that's it for him. He doesn't like socialising outside of school, so won't go to birthday parties and things. He's really upset at being expected to go to a social event that's school related outside of school hours.
He managed ok with his play last week because for some reason he didn't class it as a social thing??
It's not often Im lost for what to doI want him to go because it's such a special event. Encouraging him isn't working at all
, he's just getting more upset, tears and everything.
Im thinking I should just let him do what he wants and not go. If I make him go and he doesn't enjoy it, there's no point is there?
Oh poo0 -
Don;t suppose anyone is waiting on the results of a coke shop, by the time `i do mine when the results are vack it will be shut?0

Ah, there was a dreadful cover version done a few years back - which all the radio insisted on playing regularly (having almost totally overlooked the previous, and much much better song from the same band a few weeks earlier). Not that I listen to them much - story of my life!:)
'Fraid Joni Mitchell's version is among all my favs.0
