I say 'wasted'.....the food is going to be split between my cousin and his gf in a kind of baby package and also some will go to the foodbank. So it's not a waste really. I just feel like a bit of an idiot :o

Good morning everyone, another quick visit before my daughter gets up and the laptop is taken once again. This is a copy of my receipt from Tesco yesterday at 17.37pm. The bill came to £11.63 and accepted a £2 off pies coupon, but would not scan the £2 off finest nor the £2 chefs pledge. I took these to customer services and was reimbursed the £4 though, making the meal deal £4. Plus has £2.14 pp back. Hope this helps some one.

Can anyone please tell me how to copy from the pp onto here properly as I'm no techie, tried the screen print, pressed the button but it didn't work ? I can't insert any faces either?

Thanks to the op for the heads up on this and Logie your cakes look amazing.

Hugs to everyone who needs them xx

Patty, how can you not appreciate the legend that is Bruce??
    You're obviously completely mad :p:D

My OH has always been a massive Springsteen fan but I really only knew his chart singles from the 80's. Back in 2002 I thought it may be the last chance my OH might get to see him so got tickets for Wembley Arena and I was an absolute convert from that night on. He was over 50 back then and leaping all over the stage for over 3 hours without any supporting groups or long intervals. We went to see him twice again during The Rising tour and by then I'd learned alot of his back catalogue.

    Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce lol

When I first heard that at Wembley I honestly thought everybody was booing him!:rotfl:

Please can I ask has anyone attempted this, to me it sounds feasible.

Also does it compare to any of the other supermarkets? I am probably going to do
    Tosco v sainsbobs
But I might do tosco v Sada.

Are these enough to serve 2?

I tried this last night and the cashier took the £2.00 off Finest then tried the £2.00 off Italian and it wouldn't scan
She even tried to put it in manually.
Worth someone else trying though with the way the tills work.
    LL

I also bought meal deal with pies and mustard mash. Used chef's (thanks to Chrisv) Finest and Pies coupons. Got a £28 shop (included Vimto x 2) down
to £3.03 and got a PP back for £5.02. Cashier said 'That's not right' and tried to take it off me. Cheeky.......

Morning all. Didn't manage to get on yesterday so belated wishes to the birthday peeps.

I went to the Battle Proms at Hatfield House last night - fab evening, and there were people from Ryvita and Starbucks giving out samples and mocs. Might be worth anyone else going to outdoor summer events looking out for.

Couple of Fissler stickers in my recycling bin. Have a lovely Sunday everyone. I'm off to an End Of The Tour de France barbecue later, so hope the weather holds. Chapeau to Chris Froome.

    Fab cakes Logie.

Question please - know there are a few techie peeps on here so could I ask for some advice? I think my laptop has passed its sell by date unfortunately (probably overuse lol) but not sure whether to get another or an ipad. Obv being MSE is main concern but looking at all the possibilities is doing my head in so if anybody can help my poor brain would be very grateful :(

    Hi thrifty sister.

I just got an ipad mini, and its great. However I've got my old laptop as a back up, mainly because you can't save PDF coupons on an ipad :D. Hope this helps
