Jelly it's been a long time since I was there as well! About 20 years! Me and my OH used to go alot before the kids came along, we had friends who lived there and had some lovely breaks there.
We are going to Glendale, it's beautiful and very good for fishing for my OH. To be honest that's how I got him to agree to go0 -

My OH has a very good friend that he was in Headly Court (the defence rehab centre) with for a while. He doesn't travel much either so they haven't seen each other in ages. I would go on the A82 regardless anyway just to drive the length of Loch Lomond
That sounds fab
I love the drive along Loch Lomond, used to do it every week when OH was in Glasgow and I was still living at home. Never got fed up of it. In fact it's been too long since I was along that way....those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
