I saw some of T staff with the ready meal coupons today so I asked at xs about them to be told they hadn't had any. Ok I thought they must have had them at another store until I was paying at the til and could see them underneath the next til. I ask if I could have 1 but they said they weren't being given out yet.

Ah, there is hope yet! Will just have to keep checking.

Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x

EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!

:( well I hope the WD40 works for you.
I hadn't thought of that and it's usually my first option for getting most things out (not yet figured out how to get black biro out of a school blazer  )

Hi, dipdap have you tried soaking the stain in milk? Usually works on my dd school jumpers:)

    Morning all.

I've written 6 different replies to my views on the couponing thread idea and deleted all of them before posting :o
Not sure what I want to say other than I think it's a bad idea.
I found the elite and also myrtle turtles thread within a few mins of going on MSE via google.
It isn't that hard to find if you want to put in a few mins work.
The 'extreme couponing' they reference isn't as easy as grabbing a pile of MOCs and going shopping. It takes much more research and organising (and that's just for a weekly shop!) than finding the initial information on how to get started in the first place.

It's taken me 6 months to get good at my shopping, I actually managed to do an 'on the hop' PP shop last night when half the stuff I had planned for was OOS. I managed to get it spot on :j
It takes so much practice and I was so proud of myself for managing to do something that scared the living daylights out of me 6 months ago :D

Not sure exactly what I want to say but this is my 7th attempt and I'm sticking with this one :D
Quoting it just in case you change your mind dipdap :rotfl::rotfl:

Well, no luck with the Ready Meals vouchers. I have looked just about every day so I definitely haven't missed them. My T's are just mean and keeping them from me! Even checked in the Metro in town. Haven't looked in the Express- has anyone found any in an Express?
I have two of the FB coupons but am loathed to use them when I know I could get another £2 (or possibly £4) off a couple of Finest Meals.
I am going to another T's on Sunday but it's a tiny one in a largish village. Hoping that they may have them but in the mean time I am sulking.

    In T logic, should be able to use 1 x finest (mash £5), 2 × hot pies (£11) , and 1 x fb moc, ie pay £2, get pp £2.99 .......

Edit - potentisl possibilities even more interesting when going for say 2 or 3 or more meal deals snd a few of the little bottles of wine.

This is all very confusing. I got a few booklets last night but I've not got a FB coupon. Can anyone please tell which combinations definitely work from the booklet against the £10 finest meal?

    Thanks,

Sorry to bore you all, but can't contain myself. oh my giddy god, just been for official weigh in at the docs and nearly piddled myself! My scales must be way out, doc said I have lost nearly 2 freakin stone (short 4lbs) holy cow. :j Still got a long way to go but I'm delighted with the first hurdle being cleared.

Sorry but this made me chuckle..
    Wow, we'll done:T:T:T
