Hiya, sorry newbie here to all this.

Just wondering when doing the apg why buy from there and not just go to the actual shop it's cheaper in. I can't quite figure out this one... And is it worth it? When you pop your receipt in to do the apg do you have to select as shop to compare?
Asda guarantee to be 10% cheaper, so if everything was equal and you spent £30 and qualified for the apg you would get one for £3.

Yes as when most people go for the apg its when something is glitching :rotfl:

Those that have an A's nearest to them, or just an A's, tend to shop for an APG. Not only does the price compare, but you get an extra 10% off your total bill compared to the price where the goods are on offer elsewhere.

BUT, you have to have at least 8 differently barcoded items (most go for 10 to ensure the receipt still has enough items on it, if the APG ignores some purchases)

I haven't done any APG shops for a few months now, nothing that is really a bargain/glitch, on the days I can get to an A's.

So, using my coupons up in the shops that have the best offers, that I can easily get to.

Not seen that trial up here, but then prices are rather ridiculous.

T's and M's fuel in town. Both charging same price. 5 miles away are branded fuel stations that are charging less than both T's and M's. How can they justify supermarket prices being the same price as the big boys?

Where I work, A's are 4p litre cheaper than T's/M's at home. So fill up there, unless I have a current 5p off litre, making T's 1p cheaper per litre.

Typical for Tesco - just starting their new 'buy xx get fuel voucher' campaign and they've already hiked their prices by 2p oer litre ! Happens every time.

in the new leaflet in mr T. there is a coupon £2 off hot pies in chilled ready meals. I don't understand what it refers too. how can you get a chilled hot pie :o

Sounds a bit daft - but probably they mean chilled pies that need to be heated/cooked in the oven.

    Hello

I know this has been mentioned lots on here, can I ask what ice creams to buy? Does it compare against mr T or Sains.

I seem to have enough of everything else apart from lollies/iceceams... (In this weather as well!!!)

    Thanks in advance.

Do I buy the smarties as well as it doesn't show in the APG?

    Any that compare a v S?

Yesterday I did a shop buying 'normal' items that were at decent prices in A's but as usual, brought enough to put in the APG machine. I brought A's own cone type ice creams (mint and strawberry) for £1 for box of 4 which compared at same price as far as I can remember, mint and strawberry to T's and strawberry to M's, sorry, I can't remember about S, but i'm sure they were either N/A or also £1. So if comparing on an APG shop you would get them at 90p, which is what I shall do next time and use them as a filler. :money:

As for the smarties cones, I have looked on A's site and mys, and both are showing 53 items in the 2 for £3 so I don't think there are any glitches at the mo, but please, someone correct me if i'm wrong. :D
