    Morning peeps, gotta spend the day trying to to contain a 17 year old lad who's dream it is, is to see his favourite team, (Tottenham) play tonight! God, it's gonna be a long day. :rotfl:

    my son has been a fan since Gary Lineker played for them ( he was 6 then and is now 29). I remember how excited he was 1st time he went. Enjoy

    I did have some :cool: Forgot I'd left them in the printer tray when I got the baby up the other day. I went to sort the washing and by the time I came back in he'd shredded them :eek: Little monkey
    Just won a free bottle of Oasis playing Spin the Bottle! Such a shame it isn't valid for use here in NI .... I sure wouldn't want it to go to waste ... ;););)

    It's a shame there is no way for the two of you to get together ;)

    BT :mad::mad::mad:

    Turns out that there's a broadband problem in my area and not with my equipment. BT are adamant that this problem has only been reported yesterday, despite me (and plenty of others according to the engineer) having been without broadband since Saturday as well :mad::mad:

    Ive got only one word for them......compo! :D

    It's lovely on the hoe and the barbican, in town there's the usual clothes shops etc (plus a T Metro ;))

    I no longer post my shops and many of my ideas because sometimes they are heavily criticised from a perspective that I don't really understand.

    As long as things are legal, do not break MSE rules, do not bring MSE or the thread in to disrepute, do not cause long term damage/fall-out to store coupon acceptance policy/manufacturers issuing mocs, etc - then anything goes.

    I have learned a phenomenal amount about savvy shopping from MSE over the years and always felt this was the place to be for the hottest hints, tips, bargains, glitches. Lots of folk who shop my way no longer post here and I think that is a real shame but understand why - I would love to see some of that vibrance, buzz and shameless derring-do return, but fully understand that the thread goes with the flow of the majority who chose to post.

    You have made some good points. I have got quite a few JF minis over the last few days and posted so on here and FB. I have used a combination of JF and Kleenex vouchers to get nearly free goods ( paid 34p for over £56.00 worth of shopping ) However they were all torn out of Tesco magazines and did not have any restrictions as to use. If the cashier had refused to take them then I would have just bought a smaller amount or left them. Both male cashiers were lovely about them and pleased at my low hopping bill
    Love the thread and all you lovely people helping each other out.

    Due to this thread I no longer worry about my bills as my shopping one is virtually zero so I can pay everything else without stressing about it.

    Fantastic morning shopping - no I didn't get crackers or JF or Oasis or Lizzie Shaw or Dole or ....or....or...

    BUT.........

    I did find a Travel Scrabble in the charity shop for £2.75 and its all complete :j
    DH has wanted one for over a year now but I refused to pay new prices :eek:
    And it was gift-aided, so even more benefit to charity shop. :T
