    Morning everyone :)

    :bdaycake: 3 dogs for yesterday

T vimto moc scans fine on the 2 for £1.50 500ml still ones - suspect it may have a wider reach, will try and test it out today.

Hiya guys, just checking in before I go to bed

Had a terrible drive down to the New Forest on Friday:eek: Really painful left knee and then started getting cramp in right thigh/groin ... seemed to take forever to get here :(

Picked up a hire wheelchair locally on Saturday and have used that to get about since. Went to London for the Hampton Court Flower Show on Sunday with Steve, Andy and Kit and I am so glad I had the wheelchair or I wouldn't have made it there never mind get around the showground. We all had a fantastic time there though :j

Today, we have been to Southampton, and had a lovely time in Ikea picking up lots of good bits, and then Andy treated us to a meal at TGI for my birthday so it made a lovely day for me. Lots of cards this morning and balloons/banners, and neighbour of the lads came down this evening with a lovely homemade birthday cake, with a doggy on top of course

It was my 60th birthday today and I really don't feel any different. I have never put much store on age actually, though my arthritis often makes me feel more like 90 at times  Alan and I always planned for something special for my 60th and I always felt that he would be here with me to celebrate it, but, although I am sad that he isn't here, my friends have made it extra special for me. No bus pass or state pension for me though, I have to wait until 6/7/2017 for that , but at least I get free prescriptions from today ;)

The weather has been scorching and it looks to continue like this for a while yet. Hope everyone is enjoying it while it is here

Happy Belated Birthday, Im pleased you had a lovely day. :)

    Morning mad squad,

Sorry been skipping so don't know if its been mentioned but the Tosco petrol promo is back, up to 30p off a litre when you but certain products.

    http://m.tesco.com/mt/www.tesco.com/groceries/ProductBuylist/default.aspx?id=G00001570&icid=petrol_upto30p_Nav_all_offers

Hope we can work something out like last time.:D
I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.

I've joined the 5:2 club cos mrT made me eat 1p chocolate.
  • A few items in the Petrol promotion cheaper in Waitrose. What a pity that Tesco doesn't compare there!
Cathedral city in Asda £6.98 instead of £7.49 in Tesco - still way overpriced though!
Many of us can only put around 50 lts. in the car so work on 1 voucher saving you £2.50.
The flora is the most cost effective at £3.80 for 1lt (overpriced again).

Anyone going to check on Morrison's prices?

Someone please ask Mr A to drop his prices on these 6!
