Oh, I give in.:) This thread's beckoning for me anyway, with questions such as Avs Ts (more about that soon).

Well, as you know, my 'less trouty' A superstore wouldn't accept any of the Campbell's coupons (as they weren't 'safe coupons') so I tried the 'trouty' superstore early this morning.

The 'trouty' store turned out to be... trouty, but only a bit, and not as trouty as the 'less trouty' one:rotfl:. Didn't have any choice of SA as there was only one till open:eek:, and with a supervisor waiting alongside it.

Had taken 'loads' of Campbell's off the shelf. Showed my coupons and SA wanted to know if I could use them all. Said they say one against each Campbell's item purchased. Supervisor kept looking for whether they said 'one per transaction' (even though me and the SA had, together, said one vs each item at least three or four times). Eventually she said they weren't one per transaction and sounded almost disappointed that I had beaten her on this point.

Then she said... we'll put a limit on them - three of each variety. So ended up with 3, not 10, of each soup (sadly only three comparable flavours stocked in my A:(). Nothing to do with the coupons themselves but just so they'd have enough stock for other customers. I suppose it's reasonable - although I could of course bought all ten if I'd not used coupons against seven of them:D. Always some inconsistency or anomaly somewhere I suppose!

Of course I'd now have to be doing other Morries shops non-savvy buying. But - eh - it's fun so I don't mind doing it:p. Especially with the triggers at the moment.

Comp came back at lunchtime. I can't post the details though, as I handed over my receipt tonight. I was asked if I needed the receipt and, after my if'ing and ah'ing, I said no. (Not wanting it to become rubbish and clutter the house:D). Knew there was some reason why I should have kept it:( - namely to let you know. But I could probably recreate it all from memory anyway.

:(A couple of items on the comp. came as not as expected. SP Soap Pads now comparing vs M at 46p (S and T both 44p) - they did come back for me with 44p M the time before. They're still 44p in my M, so maybe the APG has got prices that differ between M stores and picked the 'most often' one. CBY Chocolate Sponge (£1.35 in A) suddenly returning N/A vs Morries:eek:. So they probably took back the small amount I got on the glitched items in the same shop.

I did do another shop - three shops!:eek::rotfl: - tonight, having stopped at M on the way there - not even a significant partial check just a quick whip round to see what a few items are (no details on items that I wasn't going to be buying at A in any event) - mainly to see if the increased price on the Soap Pads reflected a widescale increase across the equiv. to SP range in Ms - pleased to say it does not. (I also found the Soap Pads still at the 44p price.) Kipling Viennese Whirls had still returned with 65p on my morning shop (despite M's offer saying 'until 14/7') - since they were on £1 (rather than £1.30) in A, I thought I'd take a risk on that anyway.

The Kipling Whirls still on at 65p in M today (despite originally supposedly being until 14/7). Noticed, today, M's Green Seedless Grapes at £1 for 400g. Sadly not comparable from A (and doesn't seem to be comparable from T either) - unless, in A, the 'reduced' price of £1.50:eek: on their 500g indicates they're going from some information they've received via their APG data that compares 500g to M's £1.00 (perhaps with a bit of an adjustment upwards for weight).

Also in M - a special purchase - Market Deal Chicken 150g at 70p:T - albeit that the chicken you get for that isn't the finest quality. Good price per unit though for something alright. I wouldn't touch the T Eday Value Sausages though (especially with prices rising on that) - or the SP Bacon - they look horrible to me.

If I go on long enough, it'll be time to check the receipts;):rotfl:. Before I press submit, I've just remembered Ambrosia Custard trigger. It is best vs Sains. due to their 2 for £1.50 offer - M is 95p each on the Custard 500g. And full prices:( - 89p and probably 90p (forgotten already as irrelevant as no good comparing to it) on the Devon Dream/Tapioca.
