Just back from hospital to see mum. I know she is getting better because she is getting grumpy again. Her legs are swollen with being bedridden last week and she had them up when we went. SHe actually walked to the loo which was great as I was worried about her mobility.
On way back called at large Tesco and got 24 JF Minis and 2x9 kleenex toilet rolls for grand total of 34p. Hoorah

I've just been doing that. I *think* that I managed to stack NHS discount on there too :j:j

I got 3 discounts but delivery wasn't one of them. I'll live :D

And 4.04% on TCB too :)

Not bored of the hot weather but definitely bored of the high pollen count. It's driving me bonkers. So much to my week off. I'm just sneezing and coughing and all that!

Hope everyone else is enjoying the weather though.

QOC my gorgeous lady, how are you? How is thr 5:2 going? I have not been doing the 5:2 religiously i.e. going to about 1000 calories on diet days but I have lost 5lb now! Woohoo. Hope everyone else is making some progress.

You never call me your gorgeous lady:o

Hi I am looking for advice and suggestions regarding milk the reason being I have a few heart problems and last week I had a very high cholesterol reading 11.5 so I need to take drastic measures to reduce my cholesterol.

Soya milk has been suggested also Alpro now this is where I need the advice because up until now I have been buying milk for £1 for 2.227 Litres. Today I bought Soywell longlife milk from Lidl @ 59p for 1 litre this is made with soya I tried it in my coffee and it was fine! I also bought Alpro Almond original from Morrison’s that was £1.69 for 1 litre with no soya I have yet to try this.

As someone who loves a bargain can anyone suggest alternatives or which one they think I should go for don’t get me wrong my health is paramount so the cost is not the most important but on the other hand I have no wish to spend my money in a wasteful way just paying for a brand name. For my lunch five out of seven days I have been having a bowl of fresh fruits with (silly me) ice cream well that has come to an end I will continue with the fresh fruits but now instead of ice cream I will now add Alpro Simply Plain it’s a mixture of soya and yoghurt 500g for £1.25 in Morrison’s I tried it this lunchtime and it was gorgeous.

So thinking caps on folks what do you suggest ?

I suggest viv that you buy these :)

£1 for 4. Same spec as Benecol. Take for 6 weeks and you should see a 10% reduction:j.

Don't Compare with anyone else so just shove them in your basket:)
