Hi there - thanks to Morribobs I've just almost cleaned out my local A of Campbell's Cup of Tomato Soups. They're comparing vs M at 50p, don't forget all of the Campbell's MOCs! I have now bought of couple of other varieties - results of that, if all goes well, due at... about 10pm, just as many of the stores shut:(.
Also bought the Walls Twisters earlier (with some more Smarties Cones:D) - thanks Sal.
Receipt comparisons coming thick and fast now, as people posting their afternoon's shops/wombles. I've now posted the full result off that last receipt: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=62408223&postcount=4252 - don't laugh!
I bought these, on the comp. vs M (multibuys in bold):
1 x Walkers French Fries Ready Salted (6x22g)£1.34N/A
1 x Walkers Worcester Sauce Crisps (6x25g)£1.33N/A
1 x Walkers French Fries Variety (6x19g)£1.33£1.68
Perhaps it would have been the Walkers Squares Cheese & Onion multipack that wouldn't have appeared - or maybe it, too, would have returned as the French Fries Ready Salted!
I was hoping for this:
1 x Walkers Worcester Sauce Crisps (6x25g)£1.68£1.00
1 x Walkers French Fries Variety (6x19g)£1.58£1.00
with the Ready Salted Fries not appearing at all as that description on msm shows a picture of the Squares Cheese & Onion. (Worcester Sauce multipack and French Fries Variety are in 'any 2 for £2' mix and match at M, but Worcester Sauce not picked up therefore Fries Variety returned at full.)
Or was hoping for this:
1 x Walkers French Fries Ready Salted (6x22g)£1.58N/A
1 x Walkers Worcester Sauce Crisps (6x25g)£1.68£1.00
1 x Walkers French Fries Variety (6x19g)£1.58£1.00
with a multibuy glitch that wasn't to be.
:rotfl:Bought my 10x Tomato Cup Soup and used MOCs and also my APG payment of £2.01 off the last shop. SA must be used to me with my glitchy receipts as remarked it wasn't that big this time. She took it all the same though. :rotfl:I've never been trouted before for presenting an APG that was too low!:rotfl::rotfl:Even when it still had the glitchy I Can't Believe... and glitchy cones on it. I just said it was a small shop originally (which it was!). A store used for that shop didn't have the Princes pomegranate juice, but I've now tried to give that a whirl as new store had them - and need more than just Mango (Sunpride) juices (Svs T).
Campbell's Soups 95p each in A - and multibuy cheekily comes off at the end - not that that makes any odds at all, it simply just gives the multis the chance to glitch - which they very likely won't - but, if they do glitch on top, I will be
:j:j:j:j:j:j:j....
and :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
:j:j:j:j:j:j
and
:j:j:j:j:j:j:j Yes!!:D:j:j:j:j
But - I like living dangerously:eek: (oh I don't) - first item scanned turned out to be the wrong one so had SA take it off - cutting it very fine with the 8 items and it will be allall round if it doesn't accept there are enough items on it! I could have added a flump. Why do I put all this on me?

Please can you refrain from finding any glitches or killer instore deals for the evening. Stella made it from As to the fridge and currently chilling me down - at 50p a can it would be rude not to
Many thanks

evening all what a lovely day re cruises In 1982 I had the privelege of going on an all expences paid 48 day cruise to the Falklands on the s s Canberra great time going out but not much fun when I arrived. a few years later after I had retired from the Army I took my family on a med cruise on the Canberra just before it was scrapped the only other cruise I have done is on the Isle of Wight ferry
Nothing wrong with the Isle of Wight ferry. It still feels like you are going abroad - even though you can see where you are going when you get on.:D
We have had some fantastic holidays there - and glorious weather too0 -

I also have a summer pudding in the fridge for tomorrow:D
Anyone else noticed how difficult it is to get thin sliced bread ? I gave up and used medium. Could have used thick and cut it in half but just could not be ar**d
I am told Waities do it but the nearest one is several miles away and just could not be bothered to do that on my bike today
I was sat having a drink in the garden earlier (J20 - nothing exciting ) and I noticed loads of redcurrants on a bush that are ready for picking..............and I wondered if its not too difficult whether I could make some jam or some redcurrant stuff to go with deep fried camembert or brie. Do you think that somebody who burns everything could manage something edible :rotfl:My family beg me not to bake  so nothing too taxing please!!0 -

My second shop against Morribobs... I used mocs against pizzas. I bought Jammy Dodgers with the cream biscuits (not showing) and Smarties cones with Magnum (also not showing). Fluffed on the hotdogs, otherwise all good! :j
2 x Sprite (500ml)£2.00£1.19
2 x ASDA Chosen by You White Finger Rolls (6)£1.00£1.00
1 x Dr. Oetker Ristorante Mozzarella Pizza (335g)£2.00£1.25
1 x Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza Pepperoni & Salame (32...£2.00£1.25
1 x Fox's Golden Crunch Creams (168g)£1.09£0.57
1 x Fox's Ginger Crunch Creams (168g)£1.09£0.57
1 x Ye Olde Oak Giant American Style Hot Dogs (560g)£1.95N/A
1 x Barratt Blackjack Max Chew Bar (25g)£0.20N/A
1 x ASDA Great Stuff Grape & Blackcurrant Juice Drink ...£1.38N/A
1 x Wall's Magnum Almond (3x110ml)£2.00£1.17
Comparison total (compared products only)£11.18£7.00
I like this shop - that's a perfect shop!:) Oh yea...forgetting about the hot dogs. But, other than that, it's perfect (now, why can't I do perfect shops like that?) (judged against my standards of imperfection on my last posted shop). Would be great if the Fox's Biscuits were really 3 for £2, but compared from £1.09 with a trigger:). Ah, yes, there is: the Jammy Dodgers, wish I'd remembered that:o.
I've been looking to two Fox's Biscuits at £1.09 each comparing, together with Jacob's Iced Gems comparing from £1.09 (three times £1.09 on the same shop) to M's cheaper price, but sadly looks like multis-on day at the moment. Offer on the Jacob's Gems (and some of the other items that are cheaper at M and in the 3 for £2 at A) is running in M until 4/8 so, folks, I'm just waiting for the time!:D:D0 -

It could have been that they didnt take the sample properly, but the neurosurgeons are involved now so hopefully they'll get to the bottom of it.
He's a bus driver and had the worst headache he's ever had. He said that he almost passed out while driving a couple of times. I feel sick when I think of what could have happened
Trying to be reassuring to my parents, but sometimes a little bit of knowledge is too much
Hope he's ok QoC x0 -
Reading backwards and just wanted to say - really hope that everything turns out ok for your brother QoC.0

Not sure about that :eek::eek::eek:
Have to admit I used pectin, but I do not go by a recipe, I just add a bit of water, cook the fruit, add equal amount of sugar to fruit and cook till set. Now that is the difficult bit, you need a small plate in the freezer, test as soon as it is boiling, you put a small spoonfull on the plate, let it cool and if it wrinkles when yo u push it it will set. Suggest you find a good recipe on the net that you can follow.
Have to go now, dinner has arrivedWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
