We have a front garden. It's a lawn with a border and wasted space IMO. I asked OH why we shouldn't just extend the Veg garden to the front?? We have high hedges and it's out of view.

He made a sucking lemons face with an added shudder and said no-one has veg in the front garden. So I guess it's just good old fashioned people who don't like change thing?.......I will have veg in the front this time next year :D:rotfl::rotfl:

Well why not use your boarder for a nice bush or two? ;)
Few blackcurrants, and perhaps a pear tree and a couple of plum trees, everyone like a plum or two now and again, dont they TM?

You can make plum jam, fabulous plum chutney (my fav!) and I have a great recipe for a wonderful plum crumble with nuts and berrys. Or you could just munch them :) I like to think I give a lot of people pleasure with my plums, as I take them into work, as I usually get far too many.
