I have a friend doing a degree in horticulture at Myerscough college. She is doing a work placement on setting up a community farm somewhere locally, not sure where exactly? But a fantastic idea

Evening FC. I sometimes look at these manicured bowling greens that are rarely used or used by a tinypercentage of people and think how brilliant they would look if they were converted into allotments

We have a front garden. It's a lawn with a border and wasted space IMO. I asked OH why we shouldn't just extend the Veg garden to the front?? We have high hedges and it's out of view.

He made a sucking lemons face with an added shudder and said no-one has veg in the front garden. So I guess it's just good old fashioned people who don't like change thing?.......I will have veg in the front this time next year :rotfl::rotfl:
