Good morning, just catching up - again:o
Their 40th anniversary concert is this August, I can see the show ground from the bedroom windows, :)

    Morning everyone.....
Just on a catch-up to see if there's any exiting news today.

Oh Izzy, you lucky lucky thing living next to the showground. Now, did you mention yesterday about coming up for a visit sometime? Got space in the garden for a tent? ;);););):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'll tell you the last time me and my DS (born in Snecky)were up your way for a visit. We did a Black Isle tour and when passing through Cromarty they hadn't long installed the public fitness machines in the park, and this is the first time we had seen these anywhere. And in Cromarty of all places. :rotfl: I love the Black Isle so much. The veiws just made every day up there :j

I see queen of cheap and fairclaire you have both been talking plants....

Well I just have to brag about my strawberrys.... I think today was my first major picking, and I usually get the same amount every day now for a good few weeks. I took out a spare washing up bowl, the bottom was covered and the next layer was at least half covered. Some of them are a good 2/3 golfball size.

Me, my DS, my Dad and Mum have just been tucking into strawberrys and cream, I don't know what variety they are, I only started with a few plants about 4 years ago but every year I grow more from runners. Dad even said they are some of the best he's tasted :D..... The neighbor got a marg tub full, and I still got loads left. What am I gonna do with what I pick tomorrow morning!!!???

I'm not that good at growing too much, but them along with all my rhubarb, i'm so chuffed with them. :T:T:T

Ahem! Hide them behind the Bombay potatoes in Asda for me later? Lol!

Only joking as I'm not going anywhere near Asda today to my knowledge!:rotfl:

(((Hugs))) to Logie, who seems to be sending loads out to others but defo deserves some back.

Hope all goes well for you today Nanny...

And Rose, well done on getting that hedge cutter sorted, it gives me hope for a call I need to make about a bag that came packed inside a suitcase, and has a stanley knife slice on the top of it.

I'll hide some behind the new potatoes in herb butter as they are now harder to find than the bombays. Yep, moved AGAIN. Now in a fridge to the right of the pizza deli.

Opps..... Now everyone knows where to find free strawberrys. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • morning, can i ask which parcel company eliters would reccomend.a friends mum passed away at the weekend up in glasgow and he`d like to bring things back as momentos but is on the train as he doesnt drive so larger items will be a issue.off to work in abit but would be grateful for any suggestions for when i catch up later.tia
so sorry for you loss tweets.

I have NO idea if they still do this but at one time (many, many years ago) if you booked train travel the train companies used to pick up luggage and deliver to you. I'm talking 40 years ago though when I was a student - my HUGE student trunk was taken from home and delivered to hall of residence - at that time it was fairly inexpensive & part of the rail service. (No 30kg max limit). Might be worth a phone call?

A lovely day to be off work

So I'm waiting for Mr Parcelforce to bring me the latest edition to my shoe pile :j :j :j

    And studying :(

But on the upside, if my delivery gets itself here pdq, I can go out in the garden and carry on studying out there :D

I was trouted this morning with these coupons in S.

The male SV insisted I could only use one. I just put them back and will use another time.
