Letter from Barclays saying they may owe me PPI

Hi

I received a letter from barclays today basically saying they may owe me PPI. the letter included full details of my loan and so on and also a breakdown of how much PPI id be paying over the length of the loan.

1st off do banks send letters out like this and 2nd what would you advise me to do next!?

    Fill in the form and complain, and send it back to them.

    Yes, banks are doing this to start a timebar on future complaints.

    Yes. Its a CCL. It allows the to start the timebar. It only lets you know you had PPi and you have the right to complain. it doesnt indicate any likelihood of success. it is purely to activate the timebar.

    You can complain at any time you like. If you are successful, they can restructure the loan so you are paying less each month instead of recieving the money yourself.
