LMS Legal Services / Nationwide – Searches query

After some advice from anyone who has used LMS Legal Services – likely through using Nationwide Building Societies legal options.
In the “Confirmation of Instruction” pack I’ve just received, there are 5 different search “pack” options, with different pricing and different options depending upon how comprehensive you wish to search!
However, for some of the options such as “Local Authority Search” and “Water/Drainage Search” there are 2 options – to either go through “LMS Search Services” or use “OneSearch”. I’ve googled OneSearch and know what this is, but what is the difference between that and the LMS search? I’ve tried to get hold of them but at this hour on a Friday that is unlikely.
Any ideas?
There are also price discrepancies too. Let’s say Pack 1 has options A1, B1, C1 and Pack 2 has options B1, C1, D1. You’d expect B1 and C1 to be priced the same, but there not – there is a tiny price difference. Sigh.
