Just seen that the Anchor chedder 350g is now 2 for £5. There were coupons in the Tesco mag (think it was the last one) for £1 off one.
Hope this helps
Just remember that the coupons are only one per transaction0 -
This is one example of the abuse that will get coupons withdrawn and cause grief at the checkouts..:mad:The £1 coupon in the Tesco mag is for the 9 pack, not the 4 pack. The 4 pack coupon is a 50p one.
Play the game within the rules and it will last a lot longer.
Not saying thats what this person did but I used the 50p from Tesco mag and I also had a 50p Velvet manufacturer coupon. I checked I could use the 2 and they said it was fine as they were different.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

What annoys me is when people drive out of their area to collect 15 or 20 copies of a supermarket magazine to get hold of the coupons thus leaving none for anyone else. I know this happens because it's been discussed on fb. In my eyes that's not extreme couponing, that's just selfishness and shouldn't be encouraged or bragged about.0

I know for a fact that the magazines are distrubuted to each store depending how many they have to throw away..for example if they have to throw away 2 pallets away because no one will use them that store will be receiving 2 pallets less next delivery as this will cut costs etc so if someone grabs 10 at least your store will keep on getting the mags in..
I do take a few mags each time..but limit myself to 5 ...might be worth finding out from the store manager when they will be throwing the old mags/sending them back and ask if he/she can keep you a pile;)im tray not davey...pinched my hubbys account!!!
I must stop buying smellies..well until i spot a bargain!
never turn a bargain /freebie down you just never know when you need it0 -
I can't believe that this thread is still running but has been sneakily moved.
This is one of the most ridiculous threads i have ever seen and can't believe that MSE are still encouraging people to post pictures of stashes from coupon abuse.
There has already been a post where someone has used coupons for items not intended to be used on. How many more are there out there who will do the same after reading in here and dashing out to use coupons against their t&cs rather than taking the time to read up fully on how things should be done.
All this stinks of now is that MSE don't give a damn about what their users think and that it is all about getting people to the site to earn themselves more money. If they did truly care about how their users felt then this thread would never have been given the go ahead. Whatever happened to the months trial to see how things went and how it proved so unpopular.
MSE you are just driving your best posters on the forums away and then where will you be when no-one wants to come on here and share their coupon finds any more.0 -
Let's stop with the negativity, I'm against coupon abuse but if someone has made a mistake we can point that out politely.0

I did my main monthly shop on Friday and got £67.24 worth of shopping for 11p after store offers and coupons. I did use my employee discount but I think this is totally doable just with coupons. I used £39.50 of saved clubcard coupons, £5 off 40, a price promise coupon and the Rustlers, Rice Dream, Genius bread, Penn State, PEK Jungle dogs and Walls coupons.0

Wow! That's a HUGE saving!
My maths isnt as good as yours though.
You got 12 burgers on the 3 for £4 deal. That makes £16 total.
But you had 6 BOGOF coupons so only had to pay for half of those deals. That makes £8 total.
How do you work out you paid £1.60 and not £8 for those burgers?
PS My son, a student, got £53 of shopping at Tesco for free. His Mum paid!!!!
PPS Think of all the money you 'll save when your hubby has to go on a diet after eating all of those Rustler burgers! It's a win-win!!!!0 -

The BOGOF coupons applied to the original, individual price of the burgers- £2.40 each. So each coupon took off £2.40 and I used 6 coupons, taking off £14.40. Hubby never seems to gain weight!0 -

Ah right. The BOGOF coupons got them down to £1.20 each, taking off £14.40 and leaving £14.40 to pay.
Then you had the 3 for £4 offer on top. How did that work?
And how did you end up paying just £1.60 for them all?
Genuinely interested because I think you may be on to something with the order coupons are presented - I never even thought of that.
PS Your hubby is lucky! I'd pile on the pounds!!!! :beer:0
