Why don't we have an extreme coupon for charity challenge? No one needs 50 bars of chocolate, 200 toblerones and 500 chocolate oranges but a food bank would

    That sounds a brilliant idea!
I hate it when bread is bogof I cant even make it through 1 loaf a week let alone 2 and yet the lady at the till always says " but its free!" better sat on the shelf than mouldy in my cupboard I'd always take the free ones if I knew somewhere to give them to :/
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

I'm new to couponing but here are some bargains I picked up yesterday. The Shloer was £2.25 BOGOF and I had a 50p off coupon from a promotional Old El Paso meal kit so I got 2 bottles for £1.75. The Vimto squash was £1 each and I had 70p coupons from the Tesco magazine so it was 30p per bottle! £9.25 worth of shopping for £3.85.

You can freeze bread for later but giving it away is a great idea too, search online for food banks in your area. I know The Trussel Trust sometimes do collections at Tesco where you can buy food to donate. Last time I gave them 12 cans of chopped tomatoes because they were on a 4 for £1 offer.

Honestly food banks are so appreciative! A friend and I took 80 boxes of crackers to one two weeks ago, along with 2p dog food and free toiletries and substantial food that we bought (pasta, flour, tinned stuff etc). They will take it all as long as it's not a perishable item and has a reasonable best before date.

They wouldn't take a fresh loaf of bread though. You could keep in the freezer and defrost slices as and when you need them. Works for me!

I filled the fridge yesterday. I got 12 Rustlers burgers worth £28.8 for £1.60 with the 3 for £4 deal and 6 BOGOF coupons. The ready meals were 3 for £6 so I used my £2 off £5 coupon to effectively get 1 out of every 3 free. The happy eggs were £1.75 so I got them for £1.35 with the coupons from the Tesco magazine. I had a clubcard coupon for the cheese. Hubby won't go hungry so he's a couponing convert!

More of my haul. The Lucozade was £1.99 BOGOF. The Schloer was £2.25 BOGOF then I used the coupons from the Old El Paso kit. The Blossom Hill wine was 2 for £3 then 25% off for buying 6 and 50p off with a coupon. The Twinings tea was 3 for £3 then 50p off with a coupon.

Here's my latest Tesco coupon shop - I took a photo but can't work out how to add it easily.
    6 little (187ml) bottles Blossom Hill wine - 50p each after 2 for £3, 25% off & mumsnet 50p coupons.
    Surf 25 wash - on offer at £3, used a £1 coupon.
2 Emmi chilled coffees - free with Red coupons.
Filippo Berio 500ml olive oil - on offer at £3, used a £1 coupon.
4 pack Velvet toilet roll - 75p after £1 coupon.

Not really a great hoard, all stuff we would normally buy (except perhaps the coffee - nice little treat though) & will use.

This is one example of the abuse that will get coupons withdrawn and cause grief at the checkouts..:mad:The £1 coupon in the Tesco mag is for the 9 pack, not the 4 pack. The 4 pack coupon is a 50p one.
Play the game within the rules and it will last a lot longer.

    Hi ladies, I love couponing.
Just seen that the Anchor chedder 350g is now 2 for £5. There were coupons in the Tesco mag (think it was the last one) for £1 off one.
    Hope this helps
