The Dreaded Dry Spell

I've only been comping for a month, and thus far I've been pretty lucky, but my mum (who also started comping at the same time as me) has yet to win anything.

I know its all down to chance, but I wondered what everybody's longest dry no-win period has been? Especially those that are serious compers entering 100+ comps per day.

A month is no time at all. People have gone for much much longer without a sniff of a win, you have to just keep plodding.

I started comping mid-January, got my first win after 3 weeks and was then winning a few times a week at least.

I went on holiday mid-may and while I was away got a WEM for my biggest win (London stay, theatre tickets, meal out)
Since then I have won pretty much nothing!
Got a few freebies that were 'win one of 500/1000/5000' but that's it.

So I've not won anything for nearly 2 months now!

Oh and I enter about 200 comps a day.

I have been comping 7 months on quite a regular basis and have only won two very small prizes, I feel like I am the most unlucky comper ever!

I didn't win anything for about the first 3 months I was comping, so keep at it - the wins will start to come! xx

Between the start of this year (on the back of a £1000 bespoke sound system win at Christmas) and now I have won the grand sum of a 600ml bottle of Pepsi Max.

I just keep going at it, ITV have to ring my number sometime, even if it is just to offer me my own series! :D

I didn't win anything in my first 6-7 weeks of comping, but since then I have had about 2 wins a month (ranging between £50 - £200 in value) and a few very small wins.

It sounds like you have had very good beginners luck. I am sure your mum will start winning soon too :)

I'm not a serious comper, don't do it every day as it comes well behind work and social life. And filling in surveys if I'm watching tv. But on the days I do do them I do a fair few and was quite happy with last years wins of one or two a month, including a very nice long weekend away.
My dry spell this year has been 6 months and counting. Broken only by a mint kitkat yesterday, which I'm counting as a freebie rather than a win. Worst dry spell ever! I just think there's a lot more people doing them so the odds are worse than they used to be.
