Another admin fee question...

So my LA rang to say that our admin fees never went through (3 months since we 'paid'!!!) we paid 440 for both of us however later they said that the contract had to be in my boyfriends name and I'm just an occupier. Which is fine but should we really have paid 440 for a single person tenancy? Surely it should only be half.
Not sure!
Not sure!

Ask for an itemised invoice, see what it says0

As far as I know, the deposit is not per person, but per tenancy.
Have you moved in?
Did the money leave your account?
Why can't you be on the contract?0 -

It's not the deposit, the admin fees.

Ah I see... sorry, I miss-read the post. Deposit fees can be pretty much what the LA like. So do as advised above and ask for an itemised list of what the fees pertain to. But definitely check your account first!! If the payment did fail find out why.0

I dunno, did you check that they were like English and legit..............englishrose19 wrote: »Just ignore those people having the audacity to call you racist! I agree with your sentiment and some of older members of the board love to live their life vicariously, viciously picking on those younger than them/ less experienced in life in order to fulfil their superiority complex.
Don't dare mention you may have emailed a letting agent because they will jump on you instantly!I have a simple philosophy:
Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. Scratch where it itches.
