Debt recovery plus ltd letter

Hello,

I'm in a real rush trying to pack a suitcase, going away on holidays tomorrow so don't have time to do a thorough search of the forums.

I have basically been ignoring the threatening letters from Smart Parking ltd for an unpaid parking charge. However I have now received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus ltd demanding £140.00. And them recommending to the creditors solicitors that court action should be taken to recover it should I not pay.

Shall I respond in any way to Smart Parking ltd or Debt Recovery ltd, or keep on ignoring until I receive (if I ever do) a genuine letter from the courts?

Since you've ignored so far, keep on ignoring. DRP is completely toothless, has no powers whatsoever, none. It's just a standard threatogram to try and scare you into paying their spurious, made-up charge.

Forget it and enjoy your holiday.
