just buy yourself a sheep and that'll do the job, although im not sure if you can ride it! But seriously B&Q do one, but its like £1000+ do you have a massive garden?

Sheep might not be an option but when we needed a ride on mower money was a bit tight so we got a goat and 4 kids LOL, they dont half munch.

Seriously tho, I've got a few sites that i found in favourites, i'll dig em out for ya. Do ya have any preference to used or new? the B&Q ones are fine if ya have a level garden but if not you may need more of an industrial one. Obviously it depends on the size of the garden as to whether its worth paying alot for one, another possiblity could be having gardeners come and do it a couple of times a year ?
Nobody can make you feel inferior, without your permission ;)

Love doesn't make the world go round, it's what makes the ride worthwhile

    ya still freezing :p

Turkeys eat grass if goats are a little large. Mind you , you may need several if you've loads of grass. Handy at X,as though
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

    CL,
Do your research or you may live to regret it. Do you want to purchase from B&Q on the grounds of price alone? I recommend going to a lawnmower centre where you will have the back-up and expertise when it comes to servicing and repairs. Some centres give you 3-5 years free servicing when you buy new.

A definite no-no in my book is the type that collects the grass via a side chute. This will clog when the grass is wet.

I purchased a Husqvarna five years ago and the only mistake I made was that I didn't buy it 10 years ago.

I don't have one, I go in for lots of shrubs and not much grass - which is cut by a robotic machine, but several of my neigbours do. On their experience I would just mention the following.

    1. Are you sure you want one? They don't seem to give a good cut and can be difficult to use if you have to manouevre around obstacles such as beds, trees furniture etc. 2. They are expensive to service and don't seem all that reliable.
    3. They are noisy. 4. If you get one get one that is man enough for the job.

If you do get a ride-on lawnmower and live near a cliff, be careful!

Depending on where you are located, I could recomend a good place to get one from in Oldham.
PM me if you want the details.

Surely only the Welsh see a sheep as a ride-on lawnmower.

    I'l get my coat.
