UKCPS: The Court Case, Round 2

The guy who lost in court the other day, who Hasbeen was gloating about, has decided to appeal. They're setting up a fighting fund over on Pepipoo. I'm in.
Be very, very careful Hasbeen, if this lands up in a court of record and you lose, the entire PPC industry is gonna be after your blood - and some of them aren't very nice people you know.

It seems it will cost about £100.
One thing the case doesn't mention though is, would this set a precedent in a higher court for future cases?0 -

Not while it remains in the County Court, and we are a fair old way from getting beyond that!
Is it just me or does spacey sound like the nutter you always sit next to on the bus?Je suis Charlie.0 -

Re spacey's "ignore" mantra, the Prankster reckons ParkingEye filed 2,000 court claims in June. He doesn't say where he got that from, but there should be some FOI data for June pretty soon.
If that is remotely true then spacey's "ignore" mantra goes up in smoke, except for people who actually enjoy writing defences to court claims.Je suis Charlie.0 -
Yes but they would given about 57k tickets in that time, and there will be a lot ignoring themWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
