Floors to Go!

Beware if you use this company for your home
Myself and my husband went into Floors to Go on Chester Road Manchester to purchase new wooden flooring. We chose a floor but confirmed with them that it could be delivered and fitted by 19th June at the latest. They agreed that this could be done and we have a copy of this in writing and we paid in full for the wood flooring. Once this was confirmed I then booked a holiday with my daughter while my husband waited at home to decorate and have the floor fitted. Five days before I went away i phoned them up to confirm that they had the correct contact details and everything was still OK. The chap on the phone said yes all good to go!!.
As the days went by my husband called in to the shop as he thought he should of heard from them with the delivery by then. 'Floors to go' asked him 'oh has somebody not phoned you' he said no they hadn't. they told him they didn't have the flooring and the earliest it may arrive is the end of July. The customer service is diabolical all they wanted to do was reimburse us for the product we had bought. Is there anything I can do as I do believe they shouldn't be able to get away with this attitude and poor treatment. Has this happened to anybody else with Floors to go. Any advice would be appreciated on this. Thank you
