This is a whole new world of scammers I haven't had the pleasure of dealing with. What bloodsuckers!!

So, even if it wasn't out of time-we weren't liable to pay the "fine" given we had evidence we had it included and staff said we were fine to park where we were....so, they never had a chance of getting a penny.

Still awaiting this duty manager calling from Comfort Inn...

If the manager says it's nothing to do with them, and you need to take it up with PE, you response must be along the lines of,
"No, PE are YOUR agents, so YOU must take it up with PE, and get the notice cancelled."

Bloodsuckers, yes, I think you've grasped the essence of the private parking so-called industry. But believe me, we're just scratching the surface here. The stuff we've come up with so far should get the charge cancelled, but there's more, much much more.
