We too have an identical problem with an identical (model and age) of boiler - could there be a fault with the boiler ?
You have a similar problem that has manifested itself which may or may not be down to a different reason with a similar boiler. You are overthinking the issue if that process is taking you into potential design and manufacturing fault areas TBH.

Only ours has now become far worse - it has "dumped" ALL of it's pressure - in 48 hours from 1.5 bar to zero bar !!

Try and keep it on one thread old chap. Those of us with challenged attention spans have difficulty otherwise.

As Keystone says, it can also be the expansion vesell, I had mine replaced twice due to dropping pressure. Although mine is an oil fired combin boiler I still had issues with pressure dropping to zero.

In the end, after my third expansion vessel 'failing' the boiler maker (Grant) came out and did a modification to add another vessel to increase capacity to my system. Their belief was the existing vessel was just underated for my radiators. Well it's been 5 months and so far so good.

My boiler kept losing pressure over a couple of days. It would cut out and need to be re filled. I checked the radiators and on was slightly damp on a join so I tightened it up and it solved the problem :) a tiny leak can cause a big pressure loss though.
