Copy Statements

Barclays Bank encouraged me to have online statements and to stop receiving paper copies. I did this as I thought it was saving paper.
However, I now need 6 months of printed statements for my mortgage application and they are going to charge me £5 per statement. I am annoyed at having to pay £30 for statements.
I printed them out online but the mortgage company need very specific things, right down to the page numbers and the banks logo and regulatory footer.
Does anyone know any ways around this?

£5 per statement? It's usually £5 per request, and since your not asking for a copy, free.
Ask your mortgage advisor if they'll accept printed online statements which have been stamped as genuine by the bank.0 -
Looks like they'll send them to the mortgage company FOC?...

seems harsh to require you to pay. other banks will do this free as you have not recieved the originals0
