Hi guys,
About to enter my details into a site given by my LA called reference-my-tenant.com.
Naturally wary of any sites that contain hyphons, I just wanted to know if anyone has heard of them and can give me the low-down?
Cheers,
Z

You're breaking company laws by not displaying your registered company address.
You also hide your company address on your website registration with whois.
Both things are strangely ironic for a referencing service...
P.S Your website makes my eyes hurt0 -

The latter breaks domain registration rules, too (profit-seeking businesses must display the registrant's name and address).urs sinserly,

Not true for .com. Every TLD (and ccTLD) has its own set of rules and while .uk may require for-profit users to display their contact information, .com (and most other TLDs) require only that the whois information be usable to contact. Whois privacy (using a third party as a proxy for the registration) is perfectly acceptable for .com domain registrations.0 -

Based on the fact they're with company's house? Phone company's house, ask them what they think. They will say, unilaterally, that registration with company's house has no bearing on the authenticity of any business.
(not saying that is the case here, but people shouldnt take info like that at face value)0 -

Make of that what you will.
Google streetview reveals a few large-ish houses on a rural road with no obvious business premises. Looks like a "business" run from somebody’s bedroom to me.
EDIT: Address is also shared with "Graham Nelson Boiler Services" who advertises in 'landlord directory'Back off man, I'm a scientist.
Daily Mail readers?
Can you make sense of the Daily Mail’s effort to classify every inanimate object into those that cause cancer and those that prevent it ?0
