Since you mention it looks used, I was wondering if it could be an instore lighting display stand. You know, where they put the different bulbs in and let you play with the dimmers/colour changers

I can't find anything in a simple google search.

I found what I believe is the website of the company on the label:
    http://www.zumi.pl/1332884,Colours_Factory_Sp._z_o.o.,Pila,firma.html

    http://www.coloursfactory.pl/

It's a printing company. Now I'm wondering if it's a "true" colour bar used to view the prints under.

I emailed Philips. They said that the reason it appears used is because it is manufactured for the European Market. It needed to be PAT tested for use over here!

I've also asked them what exactly it is used for. I did take it to a lighting shop near to where I work today. They have never seen anything like it before!

Philips have replied to my email.

They state, "The Colour Factory Head Light Bar is a demonstration unit with a number of light sockets to fit a number of different bulbs".

Philips have also advised that they can't find a user manual for the product.

Off all the things I have won this is by far the most bizarre! lol
