My Prudential car insurance tracked immediately on Quidco and validated straight away. It's due to be paid this month, so we will see.

If it works for you, great. It hasn't for me. I used Quidco for my home insurance in May and I haven't had a sausage yet despite querying it with them. They don't seem to communicate much. My query to them just shows as "Open"

Now thinking of cancelling the insurance and taking out one from another company with better cashback records..anyone have any thoughts on whether it would be a good idea or not, got 14 days to do it.

I had MMA insurance 'internet shopped around for ages solution' for buildings and contents, re-quoted this year was £245

Quidco - LloydsTSB, MMA and and someone else giving more cover - £175

    Cashback £120 validated

Net cost for Insurance this year £55

    :T :T :T
If it takes a man a week to walk to walk a fortnight how long does it take a fly with tackity boots on to walk through a barrel of treacle?

Just got quotes for my house insurance (contents + buildings + accidental damage) with Direct Line and Barclays.

Barclays £305  less £125 quidco and £50 code (whatever that is) = £130
    Direct Line £178 less £100 quidco cashback = £78 :T
Where can i find the barclays discount code?

Same here - I was going to get:

Buildings insurance with Direct Line for £163 - £100 Quidco, and
    Contents insurance with Barclays for £206 - £125 Quidco = £144 total.

Now I'll have to get a combined policy with Lloyds TSB for £294 - £120 Quidco.

Will lloyds not pay the £120 if we only take contents thro them?

Direct Line still missing off Quidco - just checked on Lloyds for a quote, bldgs & contents with £120 cashback would only be £20 more than if i had gone with Direct Line, so probably end up going with them instead if DL don't re-appear in a few days...

Yeah that's sort of what I did in the end - buildings with Lloyds and contents with More Than. £299 which is a few quid more than our renewal, but £170 already validated on Quidco :)
