Kenwood Dishwasher Rebrand - Advice?

We bought a Kenwood Dishwasher from a Currys store as a bit of a distress purchase. It looked good value as it was reduced from £329 to £229. I have always trusted the Kenwood brand. A few days later while browsing the Currys website for reviews, I found an identical dishwasher, branded Logik for £129 reduced from £199. I have since found out that Currys use the Kenwood name under licence, but I find it hard to believe that they are allowed to sell an identical machine for £200 more, just because of the name sticker. I have used the machine, so cannot return it, but is there anything else I can do?

This is done all the time with appliances. Kenwood is no longer the brand it used to be. The name is licensed and a badge stuck on generic appliances - usually made in a city in Turkey.

Other manufacturers do this too - it is much more cost effective for them.

Yes, they can charge more for a specific branded badge unfortunately!
