Id recomend buying it from either a proper Hiking/camping shop or Millets. I brought a tent from Millets for around £50 3 years ago and have camped all over france & spain in it and it has lasted perfectly. Halfords probably do a good tent aswell but i have never had one from there.

Try gooutdoors.co.uk, they have a Gelert Rocky 2 on offer for £19. I have a Gelert tent and it's excellent!

halfords are pretty good at tents they are galert ones. i had one three years ago and it i still use it. remember 4man really means sleeps 3 in comfort. but if you can get to a tesco extra you may be able to get one cheaper. same design.

i bought a gelert quick pitch tent - i got the xl one that supposedly is 3 man but myself (bigger person) and my son (very skinny 8) fit lovely but 3 would be a mega squeeze! so would second going bigger.

I love my quick pitch (havent used it outside yet) it is so easy to do (have to watch the video of how to fold it up on the net and put the tent away at the same time iYSIM as it what you have to do feels at first like you are 'breaking it' you arent. It is so light and convenient yet good for short holidays etc..

I got mine from the outdoormegastore (i think it was called) excellent price - they are selling the 2 man quick pitch in halfords for what i paid for the bigger one! just edited it was outdoormegastore - only thing was when i ordered they were out of stock and it did take a little while to come.

The Gelert Quickpitch tent is a single skin pop-up tent. Simply remove the tent from the carry bag, snap the Velcro tap and shake the tent and it pops up into shape (Just like that). Then just peg and guy down and you're ready to go. The fabric is 190T polyester with PU coating and taped seams for waterproofness. The poles are 6mm fibreglass. We got a Outwell Jersey pop-up tent for £29.99 (exactly the same as the Gelert one) and its great ~ I'd definitely recommend it Perfect for 2 adults.

bit late I know (as its now monday evenng!) but got a 2 person tent in asda yesterday reduced down to £7.00
the 3 person ones were reduced to £15.00

if thats of any help to anyone else?
