What's the best deals you guys can find on a tent? It needs to be at least 2 person. There's one in Argos for around £30 that looks half decent.
Anyone beat that?
TIA

if you have a big tesco by you then try that - pop-ups about £30 and two man domes for under £20. don't buy the tesco value one though which is about £8.00 - its rubbish - happy campingI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080

Half price decent tent at Millets - down from £70. Have a look around their website, they've got some good kit at good prices too. If you find something you like, phone ahead to a local store and if they've stock they'll keep it to one side for you.

Hi
Whatever you buy keep an eye on the Hydrostatic Head HH rating of the tent. This tells you how waterproof the tent is.
In this country general recommendation is don't go below 1500 -2000 HH
A good website for info about camping etc is https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk You'll find lots of friendly people with advice about tents & campsites etc.
Enjoy your camping0 -

From Yeomans outdoors, none near me but maybe one near you £29.99

I would just add that tent manufacturers ideas of space needed for a person are usually inflated, and you are best buying larger than you need, so if there's 2 of you , you are better going for a 3 man, and if there's 3 of you a 4 man etc.
I would echo the comments about HH rating, and the Argos one at 1200 seems a bit low IMO.
Hope this helps0 -
Halfords were doing a 4 man tent with airbeds, sleeping bags and a camping light for gbp79.99 which looked very good and you would be able to use in the future. There was a also a deluxe version for gbp99.990
