light switch & socket face plates

I bought some new plug sockets and a light switch for my bedroom. I had an electrician round to do other jobs and he fitted them for me.
However, they are smaller than the old ones. There is about a 5mm gap around the face plate.
I have measured the new plates and they are 85mm x 85mm. The ones I took off are 95mm x 95mm. Does anyone know if the 95mm ones are available now.
At the moment I have a finger plate around the socket and switch but would really prefer a switch and socket of the same size I took off.
