Outstanding Amounts

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the balances that are listed on the credit report are actually what i owe against my debts?

I have a DMP that has been going a 3 years, and the figures that they are using are more than what are on recent experian and equifax credit reports that i obtained.

I know that the creditors should write to me annually, but for some of them, i know for sure that i havent received any statements, and i am a bit reluctant to contact them in case i rock the boat so to speak.

Thanks

Ladeda

    Not necessarily.

If you are on a DMP then requesting a statement shouldb't rock the boat. Would your DMP provider request a statement or a balance on your behalf from each creditor?
