EoN and clubcard points

Hi,
I have signed up with Eon for my electric and gas with a 2 year fixed
price plan and will get 1000 tesco clubcard points for every £10 I spend
on my bills, 1000 clubcard points equals £10 ( excluding promotions etc )
so it looks like i will effectively be getting free electric and gas !!
Is this right or am I getting my sums wrong as this seems too good to
be true

You get your rewards as club card points not points for how much you spend.

Direct debit customers receive a discount of 6% off their total annual bill. Customers on this tariff receive their rewards in the form of Tesco points, where a £1 reward gives 100 Tesco points (not included in your savings figure). Dual fuel customers receive an annual discount of £10.50 worth of Tesco points. Online customers receive an extra discount of £10.50 worth of Tesco points a year for managing their account online. Customers are also eligible for a loyalty discount of £10.50 worth of Tesco points for staying with E.ON for 1 year, £15.75 worth of points for 2 years and £21 worth of points for 3 or more years.

I thought it was too good to be true
On Eons site it says Every £10 in E.ON Rewards equals 1000 Clubcard points
but I misread it as Every £10 in E.ON equals 1000 Clubcard points
