Help Funding Summer.....Please!

Hi all,
I've just finished 3rd year and have been told that I cannot get funding over the summer period. Last year I was awarded £1000 plus my rent paid for the summer from the Childcare/Hardship fund. I've now been told that this was a one off and is not available to anyone this year.
Problem is I was kinda counting on getting this. Got £300  to last till september, and as a single mum with no income other than CB and CTC I'm gonna find this difficult. £300 would not even cover a month's rent!!
Can anyone help with ideas on how to make / save money? Today I've managed to cut Sky down by £20 pm which is a good start! :T
I've obviously considered working - but it's catch 22 situation - in previous years I've found that I'm working to pay for the childcare I use when working !!
Any help would be fab - thanks
