Hello
Hoping someone can offer advice. I had a default with T-Mobile which was satisfied via Lowell. Lowell have updated my credit file to say it's paid, but T-Mobile haven't. I contacted them and they say this hasn't been paid. I asked Lowell to contact them and they said they would, but T-Mobile still haven't actioned anything.
Can anyone offer advice as to how I can make them do this?
THANKS

The default should only ever be recorded by one of them and the earliest date a default is applied should be the one which sticksYou might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0

Sounds like Lowell have put a new entry on your credit report instead of taking over the T-Mobile one.
Ive got the same issue with DLC at the moment

Can you tell me what action your taking to correct it? Thanks

So far ive taken the same action as you and disputed it through the credit referance agency.
Not had a reply yet but they have 28 days and its only been about 12
I shall raise the complaint directly with DLC if the dispute doesnt get resolved via the CRA

I think you definitely need to chase it with the DCA. Assuming you did default with TM (and it sounds likely due to a DCA being involved) then they have recorded the entry correctly.
I don't believe the DCA should need to record anything to be honest.0
