Dealing with mild mould on walls?

I'm doing up the garage, which currently has a leaky door frame and has resulted in some mild damp mould on the (plasterboard) walls around the door.
I was intending on just washing them down with soapy water, letting it dry and then repainting with regular emulsion, but wondered if that'd be sufficient or if I should be using mould-resistant paint or if I need to clean it differently?
I'll be replacing the door/frame to try and avoid the dampness.

I'd wash it down with neat bleach (don't wash it off, just leave to dry)0

Thanks

It'll be alright to paint over once dry?0 -
I have used a product called HG Mould Spray (It's on Amazon and has 294 five star reviews).
It worked very well. It will stain a little on non glossy surfaces, but since you are painting, that wont matter.
It really was effortless for us, spray it on, leave it 10-15, then the stuff just wipes off taking the mould with it.0 -
Yes use bleach but make sure you give it plenty of time to really dry through and then your be ok to get painting. Good luck!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
