Hello.
I'm planning on applying for a mortgage in the next month so all my spare cash needs to be saved for fees and stuff.
However my car is 19 years old and could do with replacing.
I was thinking of asking for a credit limit increase on my over draft or credit card of about £500 to be able to afford another car.
Would that increase in my current lending affect my mortgage application?

The outcome of your mortgage application depends on so many factors.
Call the company and ask if they carry out a credit search when increasing limits/overdraft.0
