Weird address on Paypal/Ebay

Hi, yet another question, seem to be having nothing but niggling problems! My buyer paid but the address both in Paypal and Ebay is really weird as it has 'serial no. V051961' after the house number and street name. I've tried Hermes and address comes up normally without a serial number, I've also googled it and its a housing estate. My question is does anyone know what this number means? I've contacted buyer several times but they've yet to get back to me so I can't post the item which is worrying me. Should I just post without this number stuck in the middle of it? (I'm not sure if I can add it to Hermes address details anyway as address is automatically filled in). The buyer isn't new so surely I'm not the only one to query this with them, if its wrong why don't they alter it? It really is amazing and irritating how many addresses have to be queried especially when Paypal label them 'confirmed'! Any advvice appreciated as I'm worrying about how long I'm having to hold onto this item before posting.

I use a freight forwarding service when I buy items from the USA, the address I use is similair to what you describe, with my name, followed by a serial number, then a normal US residential address below - all my packages are collated, then forwarded to me by the cheapest possible method.

Perhaps your buyer is using a similair service to forward their purchases abroad? If you can't input the address in the format given I would just move the serial number part to appear after their name instead.

You could put the serial number after the buyer;'s name if you can't alter the address
