    That's so cool!! :T

I love saving tins... I have one for 2 pound coins and one for my mom (a tin that you can't open). Can't really afford anything more at the moment.

Wow! Imagine what you would have had in January. That is a good idea though. I always find pound coins in the sofa and such. Did you buy a big splurge item with the money?

so far I put 200pund in the bank what I saved in the tin
  • I have one of these tins too, been putting fivers in it, pound coins and the odd tenner. Opened it at the weekend and there's £1210! I'm gobsmacked, that's in about 10 months so not too bad.:T
Its all mind over matter. I don't mind and you don't matter:rotfl:
  • Awesome! I'm well tempted to do this. But I usually just empty the coin section in my wallet into the Tesco self serve machine whenever I go :E
  • I save into a tin every time I have change. Everything under 20p goes in it. I also put the rest of my silver upto £1 coins into another tin. When we opened them up after a month there was almost 100 between the two and that's just from my tips at work :-)
    Debt free finally :j
