How does The Sun hols work?

Hi

I've never done it before and interested in booking a cheap hol away
I'm a single parent to a 2 year old and I'm just wondering about costs- we stayed 4 nts at Butlins for £105 in April, that was room only, all passes included. We got the coach and it was nice to get away.

If its £9.50 pp though, and we wanted to stay 4 nts again through the sun how much am I looking at? Is it worth it?

Hi there! The price is based on a party of 4 so you would have to pay a minimum of £38 for starters. On top of that, there are sometimes service charges per unit per night and entertainment passes to pay for. Some people find that if they are flexible on dates ie can go in term time, midweek maybe, the Sun hols don't always work out cheaper than booking direct. On the other hand, I have 2 kids of school age and work in a school myself so have no chance of term time hols for me - I have booked lots of Sun hols over the years and they have been a godsend!

if you can go in term time i would say booking direct may well be cheaper. I have booked Butlins through the sun and am paying £120 for 3 nights in August so that's a bargain for school holiday dates BUT if you pay about the same to go in term time then you might as well do that...

Why not pick a site and price up how much it would cost for you to go with the sun as compare it with booking direct..

i booked it in the last round of sun holidays -dates for Aug 23rd onwards were available .. i booked online with a priority code..

i was very lucky :j but there were butlins breaks for the weekend of the 23rd and the following weekend available :beer:
