Just out of interest why do you require a Mastercard as opposed to a Visa card?

My daughter has just been to Toronto for a holiday and noticed that Masrecard is accepted more than Visa..
We go there in September. I want to use a card as oppsed to carrying round cash , then pay the lot off when I get back.

Thanks for the info, I'm off to Toronto next week. I normally use my Nationwide Visa, but I guess I will have to take a bit of extra cash with me now.

Hi, just come back from Toronto. Had zero problems using my Nationwide Visa. Used it at all places that accepted credit card.
