Hi all
Im trying to find a decent bath to fit, has anyone had one of the above, were you happy with it??
Is this a strong material, im trying to find a decent bath that doesnt cost the earth.
also regarding hand grips, do they tarnish easily or last a long time??
thanks in advance.

Yes ideal form or ideal cast is very thick approx 10mm. Heavy baths too
Can be compared to carron carronit baths. Strength of steel but with the warmth of acrylicHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
Idealform is the standard acrylic bath by Ideal standard. Idealform plus has an encapsulated base board with fibreglass reinforcement sprayed around the lower half of the bath, but as andyhop said the Idealcast baths are superb quality I've supplied the Ideal White bath on several projects and every one has attracted positive comments from both the installer & end user0

thanks for the info, the design i like is only available in deal form and wondered how it compared with the other materials and is it sturdy enough or will i end up ripping it out in two years time for a more solid one??0 -
I would say that in a normal environment, provided its installed correctly anchored to the wall etc & you've not got any 18 stone rugby players showering in it on a regular basis it should be fine. It does have a 25 year guarantee against manufacturing faults too.0
