Parking Eye threats - bring it on

I have just come home to a threat from these plonkers. :-)

First they tell me off for not notifying DVLA that I had moved. Had I not notified DVLA how would they have my current address? Duh! In any case, had they written to me within 14 days I was still at the previous address.

Next they tell me how they are being kind and allowing me the reduced price despite it being later than normal to offer the reduction. How kind. I was planning on paying £zero, so a reduction must mean that they will pay me?

They then tell me that details of how to appeal and that "the relevance of Schedule 4 of POFA 2012" are on the parking charge notice. It's not. But at least that is correct as POFA doesn't apply in Scotland.

Finally, I am informed that "should you choose to ignore... ParkingEye ...pursue... through County Court". Really? In Scotland?

As the title says, bring it on.

Al.

ps as an accountant I am willing to offer my services for free to PE - if they want to save money I can tell them who to sack to save some. Simply tell me who wrote this rubbish to me and I will tell you who needs sacking.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
