when we moved into new place,we inherited a patio with collapsing wall and few lost slabs.
we rebuilt the wall and placed similar size/shape/pattern slabs in.
how best can we clean up the old weathered slabs AND dirty the new ones so as that match up well?
my neighbour mentioned that old slabs may be stained to get the new Cotswold ashbourne colour
Any advice will be greatly useful

Google - yogurt, manure, aging. Apparently you can paint it onto stuff and it accelerates the moss/lichen/algae growth, saw it on a gardening show, not tried it myself.0

Usual way to clean pavers is with a power washer. You can buy patio cleaning liquids but I have not been very impressed with any that I have used.
Your neighbour is right about dyes being available : about £45 for 5 litres. Don't know if you would be able to get a bang on match.
I wouldn't mess with the new pavers, they will lose their present appearance with time , and if mine are anything to go by, bird crap , slug trails , naturally formed algae and dirt deposited when it rains.Forgotten but not gone.0
