wheel misalignment??

My wife hit a kerb when giving way to ambulance.Looks like she turned to left and the front passenger side wheel hit something directly and the wheel in turn damaged the splash shield and rim of the wheel arch shows minor dent .There is no other damage noted on the car.
The tyre is now rubbing on the wheel arch especially when turning left and it appears that wheel is 2-3 cms backward than the wheel on other side. the space between tyres and wheel rim is much closer in back aspect of front left wheel.
we were planning to sell the car soon and do not want to spend too much on it.
while we would definitely take it to a indie garage-would like to know what may be the damage and how much it would cost us sorting it out.
It is a kia picanto

They're not exactly made of girders, but the car needs an urgent check. Your probably looking at replacing the wishbone (made of cheese) and the wheel, unless you are going to be naughty and put on the spare.0

Yes wishbone most likely hope it hasn't broken or pushed back the wishbone mounting points or cross member, might have given the steering rack a hefty blow, drop link, also check stub axle is true.
All these need checking.
I'd take it to a one man and his dog independent bodyshop, he'll be more likely to straighten parts where safe, a accident repair centre with receptionists carpets and courtesy cars probably won't.0 -
Unfortunately none of the, fairly straightforward, suspension bits are fixable if bent. If the body mount is bent/twisted, the car is scrap - hence the sacrificial wishbone.0

Hi
Thanks for the info
And if it is just(hopefully) wishbone replacement-how much are we looking at cost wise-labour and part?0
