how to approach this...
I posted a few weeka ago with a query and I have a court appearance tomorrow which has been rearranged. Basically I replied to a speeding fine because I didn't know who was driving due to a number of factors. I was sent a court date in April but I was travelling and so away when I received the letter and also when the court date was. I got back to a 800 pound fine plus 6 points...I rang up and after sending a letter was given a new date. I have learnt the hard way and don't expect to wipe off the points and get no fine...but I was just wondering what to expect tomorrow? I hope maybe to get my fine down a bit and maybe only get 3 points? I don't really know what I should be saying?
Would appreciate any pointers from anyway.
Many thanks

think it was all covered in your previous thread......there is a defence that you could not, with reasonable diligence, identify the driver - section 172 (4), Road Traffic Act 1988.0

So if I say that it's a fair enough response? I don't want to come across as being arrogant0

I suspect the court would want to know what steps you have taken to attempt to identify the driver as well as that! The judge will already know the law so doesn't need it outright citing to him, just use it to support your argument0

Well i will say what steps i took and th. I suppose it is down to him. Does anyone know how long it is likely to last??
Thx0 -
Good luck today and please come back with an update.0
